Your people. Your event. I'll keep it moving.
A warm room, good conversations and someone looking after the day.
I welcome people in, connect the sessions, ask the questions and keep an eye on the energy in the room. Your speakers get a thoughtful introduction. Your audience knows where we're going. You've got someone to work with when the plan needs to change.
There'll be humour. There'll also be preparation, attention and a host who understands why you've brought everyone together.
What hosting looks like
A host you can hand the day to.
I get to know your event
The audience, the purpose, the people on stage and the moments that need care. We work through the run sheet, names, introductions and tone so I can host a day that feels like yours.
I keep the conversation going
Sessions feel connected when someone is listening. I pick up the useful threads, ask follow-up questions and help the audience stay involved as the day moves along.
Panels and interviews, prepared for
Prepared well enough to follow an interesting answer, bring quieter voices in and move things on when it's time.
I work with what's happening
A session runs long. The room needs a lift. A speaker needs a little more time. My facilitation background helps me read the situation and adjust with your event team.
Why I can hold it
Most MCs come from comedy or radio. I came from running rooms.
Hosting isn't performing at a room. It's reading one and adjusting live. That's a different skill from being funny into a microphone, and it's the one that keeps a day cohesive when the schedule moves.
I'm there to get the best out of your event, not to do my material regardless.
What I host
If it's got a run sheet, I can run it.
Conferences, awards, industry events, community gatherings, offsites, panels and interviews. In person, online or across both.
Conferences
Multi-day, multi-track, kept human start to finish.
Award nights
Pacing, warmth and timing so every winner gets their moment.
Offsites and summits
Internal days that need momentum without cringe.
Panels and firesides
Actual conversations, not a queue of questions nobody asked.
Hybrid and virtual
The people at home get looked after too.
Community and industry
Hosted like they matter, because they do.
If you also need a keynote or workshop, we can explore combining them in the same visit. Explore speaking → Explore facilitation →
How it works
I learn your day, then make it feel effortless.
Send me the day
Run sheet, speakers, sponsors, the feel you're after. Names and pronunciations.
I learn it
Your run sheet lives in my head, not on a card I'm reading off. That's why the links feel like conversation, not admin.
On the day
I see problems coming and fix them before you know they were there. You get to enjoy your own event.
What the room says
Energy is the word that comes up most.
One in four written comments mentions it. For a host, that matters more than anywhere else: the energy in the room on your day is the thing people remember about your event, not about me.
